A touch of magic for your education

Film & AIdea Labs

We transform your project week into a platform for ethical, creative problem-solving, significantly enhancing your school's profile, and establishing a direct forum for corporate and NGO collaboration.

The Film & AIdea Lab integrates leading creative agencies, film production companies, NGOs, and corporations directly into your project week. This close synergy with the professional world ensures that

  • teachers gain a hunger for more creativity and future partnerships with NGOs and industry,

  • that students develop a strong passion for creativity, sustainability, and AI technology, and that

  • the school enhances its attractiveness and profile.

Strategy and customised education

We assist in developing the solution and managing the strategic process. We tailor the programme individually to the specific problems and challenges your institution aims to solve.

For various clients, this has resulted in unique new opportunities, including entirely new study programmes and courses, integrated creativity, technology literacy, design thinking, project work, and interdisciplinary studies, the incorporation of prototyping and testing into work processes, enhanced collaboration with companies, and new frameworks for pitching and guest lecturing.

Film production for educations

We produce strong visual stories, told by pupils, students, teachers, management, and partners, that capture future applicants. We integrate film and data to create engagement before, during, and after your Open House event. The appeal is significantly increased, especially when your educational institution uses the pupils’/students' own stories in recruitment.

Frederiksens offers:

  • Film based on analysis of young people's needs.

  • Production of authentic film cases that integrate recruitment goals.

  • Full service from branding and digital film marketing to strategic planning and campaign execution.

Our film about the school architecture that hosted our lab

Our short documentary takes you into architecture's revolution of pedagogy and high lights our lab experience together with the high school. In the heart of Ørestad in Copenhagen lies Ørestad High School that has redefined what an educational institution can be. Designed by the world-famous architects at 3XN, the building is more than just concrete and glass. It is an active player in the students' daily lives.

Client case: Theoretical model development, Future Classroom Lab, Carlsberg City

How to lead technological change projects in education?

The Future Classroom Lab was tasked with examining examples of good technology implementation in the interaction between municipal schools, administration, and municipal politics for Local Government Denmark (KL). Frederiksens developed a model for “Good change management of technology implementation” for use by Local Government Denmark (KL) and in the Future Classroom Lab's research. The model was presented to the Danish Agency for IT and Learning (Styrelsen for IT og Læring).

The high school's AI dilemma

The job market is screaming for AI competencies that are virtually uncultivated in high schools. But who helps the students, the business community, and educational institutions solve this challenge? Niels Brock's Innovation Gymnasium and Helsingør Gymnasium joined forces with Frederiksens to strengthen the students' creative input on the brief: Responsibly give 16-19-year-olds the new generative AI skills they will need in their working lives.

Microsoft, CPH Strategy, GN Group, KnowIt Experience, Virtue (American advertising agency), and Plotworks (film production) taught the students.

Panel debate at Niels Brock on the dilemma between Danish Industry, Microsoft, the UNESCO National Commission, and the GN Group and a 3rd-year student from Niels Brock.

Lab against digital harassment

A role-play where students innovate new solutions against digital violations. It concludes with an Award show, prizes, award ceremony, and press coverage.

Students produce case films about non-consensual image sharing, digital bullying, and grooming, and their own creative solution against these issues. They gain both creative competencies and significantly improve their understanding of digital violations. They learn how to contain these issues themselves and how to help their peers when they occur.

You gain access to plugnplayproject.com, so students and teachers know exactly what to do and when. The platform includes videos, tips and tricks from professionals, and assignments. Students are taught methods in creative collaboration, design thinking, and story doing within a digital context.
